Small software,
made close to home.

Over the last few months, I’ve made one small piece of software after another.

Most began with someone close to me. A way for my daughter to make a story. A birthday invitation built around a kid’s latest obsession. A place for party guests to leave their full-resolution photos. Tools for Divya. Tools for me.

These are ideas too particular to begin as startups, but useful enough to deserve being made.

AI has changed the size of idea one person can afford to take seriously. Software can now start as a favour, a curiosity, or an afternoon with a child. Some of it may grow. Some of it may never leave our house. Both count.

I care about the part AI plays in that. I don’t want it to take the interesting part away. I want it to help people shape things, turning an idea into something they can see, change, use, and share.

The Crayon Foundry is the name I’ve given that practice.

There is nothing to buy here yet. I’m making, learning, and having a lot of fun.
